Supporting Sustainability with Cisco

Cisco has developed a The Plan for the Possible, a strategy to connect a regenerative future while helping customers and communities adapt to our changing world. This plan includes three key priorities:
- Transition to clean energy with a target to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across their value chain by 2040
- Evolve a regenerative, circular model with 100% of new products and packaging incorporating Circular Design Principles by the end of this year
- Invest in resilient ecosystems, committing US$100 million in climate solutions over 100 years
Cisco has also devised an approach that helps customers accelerate to a more sustainable future through products and solutions, services, and lifecycle management programs. They help customers build, deploy, and operate more sustainable data centers, automate environments through smart buildings, transform network performance through energy efficiency and decarbonization, and advance sustainability with industrial networking, IoT, and security solutions. They also offer services in sustainability, empowering clients with sustainability priority assessments, energy optimization assessments, and energy optimization management. Their lifecycle management programs help clients reduce waste with Cisco Refresh, Cisco Takeback and Reuse Program, and Cisco Green Pay, which offers incentives to support product return.
