Giving Back: The ivision Way

By Devin Nori December 23, 2022

At ivision, service is at the heart of our culture. Whether it’s a 1% Pledge volunteer day, a companywide donation drive or personal acts of kindness, we take great pride in our community commitment. This year, we’re grateful for the return to more in-person volunteer events and making an impact together. Throughout the course of 2022, we had the opportunity to volunteer with a variety of organizations throughout our community.

Atlanta Community Food Bank

To kick off the year, several of our team members got together to serve the Atlanta Community Food Bank, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing food to children, families and seniors in Atlanta and North Georgia. Throughout the day, our team was able to pack over 2,000 meals to donate!

Turner’s Heroes & Abby’s Angels Foundation

In October, we brought our team together for two company socials at Puttshack for some fun, food and friendly competition. We used this opportunity to incorporate service into the event, inviting each team member to make a cape to donate to Turner’s Heroes, a Nashville-based nonprofit supporting patients in children’s hospitals and advancing pediatric cancer research. We also collected school supplies to donate to Abby’s Closet, a division of Abby’s Angels Foundation that provides resources for students to fuel their desire to learn and further their education. Being able to give back while having fun was the perfect way to celebrate being together!

Food Well Alliance

Our team worked with Hands on Atlanta to support Food Well Alliance, a collaborative network of local leaders working together to build thriving community gardens and urban farms across metro Atlanta. We packed and sorted seeds for their local community gardens in an effort to support their mission of providing resources to local growers and building healthier communities.

Empty Stocking Fund

To close out the year, our team volunteered with Empty Stocking Fund, an Atlanta-based organization committed to bringing joy to the lives of disadvantaged children during the holiday season. Throughout the afternoon, our team stuffed over 300 stockings to brighten families’ Christmas mornings!

Acts of Kindness

In addition to our team-wide volunteer events, our ivision employees have been making an impact in their own communities on their own time. In 2020, our team started the Acts of Kindness Challenge to promote service while we couldn’t volunteer together during the pandemic. This challenge has carried through to 2022, and throughout the year, we’ve had team members participate with Backpack Buddies, Sus Hijos, Inspiredu, No Longer Bound, Douglas County Animal Shelter and many more! We’ve also had members of our team come together to support individuals in our need by making packs of food, water, hand warmers and hygiene products for the homeless community in Atlanta.

2022 was an incredible year to give back. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support our community, and we can not wait to see what impact we can create in 2023!
