What inspired you to become an Engineer?
A love of technology stemming from an addiction to video games and the desire to help people in a way that I am able.
David’s Career Journey
Honestly, I was drawn to look for another job because my previous employer was convinced that we were getting fairly compensated even though it was about $20k less than industry standard in ATL. Like most things in my life, I was driven by rebellion.
What is your favorite part of the job?
The people here are amazing. Every department has kind, intelligent and professional individuals that are all working towards one goal. The feeling of truly being part of a team drives me to try to make ivision a better place for everyone here.
What’s a fun fact about yourself that others might find interesting?
I actually have professional history in Security work, having been a bouncer for a multi-million-dollar club in Florida and having worked in the Corrections field in the same state.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to cook, I’m still working on getting a group of recipes together to share with people at work (I didn’t forget, it’s just been on the back burner) and would like to collect them from others for a company cookbook. I have played Magic: The Gathering for about 30 years now and still enjoy playing on Fridays. I recently picked up a new hobby of painting miniatures.
