Tenant to Tenant Consolidation with Quest Software
Challenge
The client acquired a UK-based data center solutions and strategic advisory firm. This move marks the client’s first acquisition since being acquired by private equity and is part of a broader global expansion strategy. The organizations are coming together as a single business entity and as part of that goal as a consolidation of both entities, IT Systems and Platforms for a cohesive organization. The organization will also go through the exercise of rebranding effort.
Solution
The M365 Tenant consolidation migration would involve migrating approximately 200 users and content from two unique EAU tenants. The migration consolidation workloads include standardizing SSO, Email, One Drive, SharePoint and MS Teams, and consolidation to Intune for management of Windows and Mobile devices. The business immediate strategy is to finalize the migration strategy and execute the tenant consolidation before the end of the fiscal year.
