The client’s existing Dynamics 365 environment had drifted significantly from out‑of‑the‑box (OOTB) best practices. Extensive over‑customization and outdated functionality introduced unnecessary complexity, while accumulated technical and data debt led to redundant, inconsistent, and inaccurate data. As a result, business processes were not properly aligned with the system design, limiting visibility into performance, ownership, follow‑ups, and executive‑level reporting.

Model‑driven applications were simplified to better align with OOTB functionality, and outdated or unnecessary customizations were removed. Improper activity usage was corrected by implementing standardized opportunity and activity tracking practices.
