Challenge
Client had limited visibility into the cost, complexity, and timeline associated with migrating data center workloads to Azure or a hybrid environment. They needed to assess modernization potential and migration readiness of Microsoft SQL Server databases. They also required data‑driven insights to compare Azure and on‑premises total cost of ownership and recovery objectives.
Solution
ivision deployed and configured Azure Migrate to discover and assess virtual machine and SQL workloads within the client’s data center environment. We analyzed migration readiness, complexity, application dependencies, and potential modernization paths for Azure SQL and Azure infrastructure services. We ultimately delivered executive‑ready findings, Azure cost models, TCO comparisons, and recommended next steps to support informed cloud migration planning.
