Sales Spotlight: Mark Davis

Favorite Client Engagement Value: I seek to earn clients for life, every day.

Mark’s Career Journey:

After graduating from Georgia Southern University, I started my professional career as a LAN Administrator for AGCO in Duluth, GA. I thoroughly enjoyed the technical aspect of being a LAN Administrator but wanted the opportunity to learn more in different IT environments. Therefore, I moved to CompuCom as a Systems Engineer until 2000. During the early part of 2000, I decided I would make a better Account Executive than an engineer and moved into sales. I accepted an Account Executive position with Solarcom, which was acquired by Presidio in 2007. I stayed with Presidio until 2019 before making the jump to Cloudreach. At Cloudreach I was able to broaden my knowledge in the public cloud space as Senior Account Executive. Luckily, David Degitz reached out to me in the spring of 2020 and my “journey” with ivision began.

Favorite Part of the Job:

The changing technical landscape is my favorite part of the job. Our clients expect ivision to be at the forefront of introducing new technologies to achieve positive business outcomes. I feel fortunate to be surrounded by a talented group of colleagues that make each day challenging and rewarding.

“Find a group of people who challenge and inspire you, spend a lot of time with them and it will change your life.” – Amy Poehler

Favorite ivision Event:

ivision does a phenomenal job of not only entertaining our clients but keeping our clients informed through various events. My favorite ivision event is the annual “ivision Client Appreciation Dinner.” It is remarkable to see a group of clients that have worked with ivision for so many years. The event has grown over the years, but still embodies the intimate and elegant setting in which it was founded.

Community Involvement:

I have been extremely appreciative and proud of ivision’s involvement in the community since joining the team in December of 2020. My personal community involvement over the last 15 years has been with Crucified Life Ministries (CLM), which is a religious organization located in Newnan, Georgia with a focus on our ministry in El Salvador.

At Crucified Life Ministries, we donate our time and efforts to El Salvador through two separate branches of the Ministry. The first is the Student Ministry. We can support students by providing money for their school supplies and uniforms. The second branch of CLM is the William McDonald Foundation to Feed the Hungry.
