Microsoft Ignite: Unlocking Opportunities with Copilot, Agents & Partner Innovations

John Oppel, Field CTO at ivision December 17, 2025

Last month, our team attended Microsoft Ignite, a premier Microsoft event that brings together thousands of professionals to collaborate, learn, and network. The week brought forward exciting advancements and announcements, and we’re eager to bring them to life in a way that drives value for our clients.

Security Copilot Now Included with Microsoft 365 E5

Microsoft has announced that Security Copilot is now available as part of the E5 license, bringing advanced AI-driven security capabilities to more organizations. This presents ivision with a unique opportunity to enhance our Microsoft Security Optimization offerings, potentially developing solutions that incorporate enablement sessions or a Security Copilot proof of value to help clients maximize the impact of these new features.

Agents, Agent Factory, and Agent 365

The rise of agents opens new doors for customization. ivision can build agents tailored for particular use cases, industries, or create “agent templates” that function as turnkey solutions for clients. However, as organizations deploy more agents, the challenge of “agentic sprawl” emerges. ivision can help clients govern and secure their environments, protecting against shadow agents, security vulnerabilities, and managing agent retention using Microsoft Agent 365 as a foundation.

Frontier Partner: Leading Trailblazers

A new Microsoft “Frontier Partner” designation is on the horizon. This status embraces firms that understand the value of pairing human insight with AI by embedding agents into workflows to execute tasks under human direction. With this designation, partners like ivision can lead the way in innovation, operate with greater agility, and generate value in nontraditional ways.

Copilot for Business

Opportunity to target MSFT Small Business clients (under 300 Seats) for both Purview DLP and Copilot Engagements since MSFT has reduced the license costs for Copilot for M365 to $21/ seat.

EA to CSP Conversation Roadmap

Microsoft is fundamentally shifting its licensing strategy, encouraging most mid-sized and smaller enterprise clients to move from EA to CSP or Microsoft Customer Agreement for Enterprise (MCA-E).

Partner Skilling: Empowering Success

To support partners in staying ahead, Microsoft has launched a new Partner Skilling Hub. The academy focuses on three categories to ensure comprehensive readiness:

Through these targeted skilling initiatives, we can empower our teams to deliver exceptional results throughout the entire lifecycle.

With these advancements, the landscape for Microsoft partners and clients is rapidly evolving. By leveraging new AI tools, security enhancements, and exclusive partner programs, ivision is well-positioned to deliver innovative solutions and drive meaningful business outcomes. Learn more about our Microsoft partnership and reach out today to get started.
