Leadership emphasized the need to eliminate all remnants of the previous company’s configuration and image, which required a comprehensive migration approach. The process involved performing a full Windows reset and reprovisioning through Windows Autopilot. This solution enabled the PCs to be configured with cloud-native services for both management and identity.
Solution
ivision delivered a new end user PC configuration that generated significant cost savings while strengthening security. By applying zero trust principles, the PCs were secured with phishing-resistant PIN and biometric authentication, leading to an estimated $500K in annual savings from reduced password entries. Additional efficiencies included $80K per year in savings from transitioning from PC Domain Join to Entra Join, along with reduced CO2 emissions and packaging waste, plus another $50K annually in shipping and labor savings.
