A law firm’s unified communications system enhances internal collaboration and reduces telephony costs.
COMPANY: Law firm with over 150 attorneys serving clients from eight offices across the U.S.
PROJECT: Converged Network
The firm was struggling with complications arising from multiple voice systems and limitations of its legacy phone system.
iVision engineers implemented a centrally managed Cisco unified communications system that leveraged existing infrastructure in order to connect the firms’ offices via Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP). The team conducted demand-simulation tests before rollout and documented the system configuration, creating a network roadmap for the firm’s IT staff. iVision also trained attorneys and support staff on how to use the system’s enhanced communication features.
Unified communications simplified the process of system management for the firm’s IT staff. The new network infrastructure also helped the firm control telephony costs and increased ways in which attorneys and other employees could connect and collaborate.
