The firm’s local-area network (LAN) platform was no longer able to meet its business needs. Backups were not meeting required recovery point objectives (RPOs) or recovery time objectives (RTOs).

Transformation Delivered

iVision enhanced the firm’s existing Hitachi Unified Storage environment with CommVault IntelliSnap software, which enabled LAN-free backup every four hours, rather than once a day. In addition, iVision engineers channeled replicated backups to the firm’s disaster recovery site via a wide-area network that operated without data-path bottlenecks.
