iVision’s Brock shortlisted for TAG Sales Leadership Award

iVision Director of Sales Wes Brock is among three finalists for the Technology Association of Georgia’s 2018 Sales Leadership Award in the medium-company category. 

 

The award recognizes high-performing local technology sales leaders who embody the ideals of servant-oriented leadership and innovation. The final winner will be named at TAG’s Sales Leadership Awards gala, scheduled Feb. 22 at the Buckhead Club. The annual event brings together metro-area technology leaders to recognize and celebrate individual excellence in sales.

 

During Brock’s five-year tenure, iVision’s sales have increased 57.5%. Key business areas have grown even more: Managed services revenue is up 218% since 2012.

 

“I’m honored to make the short list for TAG’s Sales Leadership Award, and I owe the recognition to the hard work and dedication of iVision’s talented consultants and veteran sales team,” Brock said. “In particular, Stephen McElduff, Director of Strategic Accounts, has been an indispensable player-coach on our team. Keith Lynch and Spencer Cagle, leaders of our Solution Architecture team, also have played a big role in iVision’s remarkable growth.”

 

Brock approaches sales with the mindset of a consultant, a position he held for many of his 28 years in the technology industry. “Sales is a noble profession when you combine it with consultative thinking. You can anticipate customers’ needs and find innovative ways to use technology to solve their business problems,” he said. “The secret to iVision’s success lies in listening carefully to customers. In addition to serving iVision customers, Brock also gives back to the community. Since 2002, he has been a volunteer Reserve Deputy for the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, which awarded him a Public Safety Award of Merit for going above and beyond the call of duty.
