ivision Partners with PowerMyLearning to Empower Youth Through Technology

In 2016, ivision Account Executive Tracy Barahona started an electronics collection drive at the company to support the initiatives she had heard about at PowerMyLearning.

PowerMyLearning

PowerMyLearning is a national nonprofit that uses technology to strengthen learning relationships between students, families and schools. The organization partners with schools and districts nationwide, with a special commitment to Title I elementary and middle schools in low-income communities.

Since 2007, the regional Atlanta office has served 27 schools and 21,800 students. They offer comprehensive teacher and family engagement services and provide students with a free personal laptop to bridge the digital divide.

This year alone, we served 17 schools and there was no way we could have done that without different companies like ivision.” – Eddie Matano, Technology Manager, PowerMyLearning ” via=”no”]

ivision Takes Part

In 2016, ivision Account Executive Tracy Barahona started an electronics collection drive at the company to support the initiatives she had heard about at PowerMyLearning. Since then, ivision has supported the nonprofit through multiple engagements including financial donations and employee volunteer workshops. In 2018, ivision joined a network of companies in Pledge 1%, a commitment to give back 1% of time and profits to help improve our local community. ivision team members enjoy returning to PowerMyLearning to share their technical skills and spend hands-on time working with computers.
