The retailer was moving much of its servers and systems administration, management and automation over to Microsoft’s PowerShell command line, and it needed to train about a dozen IT team members without sending them off-site.
iVision experts delivered two separate PowerShell training sessions at the retailer’s headquarters. The training included presentations, hands-on labs and manuals that helped equip students after the sessions. iVision charged a fixed fee per session, rather than basing the price on attendee headcount.
The training sessions prepared the retailer’s IT team for command line changes by allowing them to test drive PowerShell via realistic simulations. Because iVision conducted the training on-site, the company could enroll as many team members as desired, avoid employee travel expenses and keep costs predictable and under control.
