Challenge
Four businesses will be consolidating both business and technology platforms including Active Directory, Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms and their IT operations in accordance with their TSA. The new business will also be rebranded as part of this M&A consolidation effort. The business is seeking expert support from a partner that can provide both migration strategy & migration consolidation of the various technology resources, platforms, and user systems into a single Tenant and directory in a timeframe that meets the TSA agreement in 2025.
Solution
To achieve the clients’ goals, ivision assessed all source environments, requirements, and employee devices for both On-Premises Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Cloud. We will support the design, migration, and tenant consolidation to maintain productivity and IT security, while repurposing the existing M365tenant to save time and costs through domain and SharePoint URL updates. This delivered an optimal and well-orchestrated migration experience, minimizing disruption to end users and business processes while assisting with user impact strategies to drive adoption and mitigate the change.
